Hotelier, Richard, accidentally kills his mistress Sam after being caught in the act by wife Trudy. The couple decide they must dispose the body to avoid jail when they are paid a visit from detectives on the search for a serial killer, who just so happens to be an occupying guest at their hotel. The couple hatch a plot to frame the killer for Sam's death. However, the scheme doesn't go according to plan and it's not long before the body count starts to rise.
