Murder Me Always5th - 7th August 2004 at
The Braithwaite, Croydon Clocktower To picture this production, think of a head on comic collision between the worlds of 'Agatha Christie' and 'Prime Suspect'. So, whilst paying homage to the traditional WHODUNNIT genre, "MURDER ME ALWAYS" does this with humour and a very modern, contemporary twist. It is also suitable for all ages and most of all it is VERY, VERY funny.

Adapted by the Director, Sam Barbot-Freeman, from the original American script by Lee Mueller, our rendering of "MURDER ME ALWAYS" was quintessentially very British. Sam took all those wonderful elements of British Crime and Murder Mystery WHODUNNITs and has mixed them together to create a delightful slice of life and death!! We guarantee that whether a Modern or Traditional WHODUNNIT is your thing, you won't be disappointed by this production.
But there's more... the thing that sets this production apart from others is that it was a truly interactive event. The audience had the opportunity to submit their guesses for WHODUNNIT and even had the chance to "question" the characters (the suspects) during the play. A winning entry was drawn from the correct answers after the final scene exposes the murderer. The grand prize: a bottle of champagne awarded each show!! And, due to the interactive nature of this production there were a few surprises in store for the audience and the actors alike. Each night was unique!!
For devotees of the Murder Mystery genre and even those that say they wouldn't normally enjoy this 'type of thing', there really was something here for everyone......
